The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
