It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
