Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
