The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who determined and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
