It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle. 10 He groweth for you thereby the corn and olives and date-palms and grapes and all kinds of fruit. Verily therein is a sign for a people who ponder. 11 And He has made subservient for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are made subservient by His commandment; most surely there are signs in this for a people who ponder; 12 And the things He has created for you in the earth, of numerous colours; indeed in this is a sign for people who remember. 13 And He it is Who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks. 14 And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves; 15 And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided. 16 Is He who creates as he who does not create? Will you not remember? 17 If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 18 God knows what you hide and disclose. 19 And those upon whom they call beside Allah have not created aught, and are themselves created. 20 dead, not alive; and are not aware when they shall be raised. 21
