When We replace a message with another -- and God knows best what He reveals -- they say: "You have made it up;" yet most of them do not know. 101 Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims." 102 And We know very well that they say, 'Only a mortal is teaching him.' The speech of him at whom they hint is barbarous; and this is speech Arabic, manifest. 103 Those that believe not in the signs of God, God will not guide; there awaits them a painful chastisement. 104 (It is not the Prophet who invents lies), it is rather those who do not believe in the signs of Allah who invent lies. They are liars. 105 Whoever disbelieved in Allah after his belief, except him who is forced thereto and whose heart is at rest with Faith but such as open their breasts to disbelief, on them is wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a great torment. 106 This is because they have given preference to this life over the life to come and God does not guide disbelieving people. 107 Those are the ones over whose hearts and hearing and vision Allah has sealed, and it is those who are the heedless. 108 Truly it is they, they who in the life to come shall be the losers! 109 ۞ Then, verily! Your Lord for those who emigrated after they had been put to trials and thereafter strove hard and fought (for the Cause of Allah) and were patient, verily, your Lord afterward is, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 110
