And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
