The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
