We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
