Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
