We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
