▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that is on the earth is passing, 26 There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory. 27 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 30 We shall surely attend to you at leisure, you weight and you weight! 31 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to protect yourselves. 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment: 37 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 38 On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin 39 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 40 The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 This is the Hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 Going round between it and boiling water fierce. 44 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 45
