▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
