The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the snorting courses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
