The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
