۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 if He so wished, He could take you away and replace you with a new creation; 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 No one can bear another's burden. If a heavily laden one should call another to carry his load, none of it shall be carried by the other, even though he be a near of kin. (O Prophet), you can warn only those who fear their Lord without seeing Him and establish Prayer. Whoever purifies himself does so to his own good. To Allah is the final return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike, 19 the shadows and the light, 20 Nor is the shadow equal with the sun's full heat; 21 Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. 22 You are but a warner, 23 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). 24 And if they call you a liar, so did those before them indeed call (their apostles) liars; their apostles had come to them with clear arguments, and with scriptures, and with the illuminating book. 25 Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! 26
