And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
