No affliction can befall man but by God's permission -- He guides the hearts of those who believe in Him: God has knowledge of all things -- 11 Obey Allah and obey the apostlle; then if ye turn away, on Our apostle is only the preaching manifest. 12 Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and in Allah (Alone), therefore, let the believers put their trust. 13 O ye who believe! verily of your wives and your children there is an enemy unto you; wherefore beware of them. And if ye pardon and pass over and forgive, then verily Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 14 Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward. 15 So fear God as far as you are able, and give ear, and obey, and expend well for yourselves. And whosoever is guarded against the avarice of his own soul, those -- they are the prosperers. 16 If you set apart for Allah a goodly portion, He will double it for you and forgive you; and Allah is the Multiplier (of rewards), Forbearing, 17 He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the Almighty, the Wise. 18
