The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)

(Of the believer) 2 and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and 3 and the outstrippers (angels), outstripping, 4 Then those who regulate the affair. 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 hearts upon that day shall be athrob 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 They say: Shall we indeed be restored to (our) first state? 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They say: Then that would be a vain proceeding. 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 When lo! they shall be wakeful. 14 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 [saying], "Go to Pharaoh, he has exceeded all bounds, 17 And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 In response, he denied and disobeyed. 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26
