The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
