In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 As justification or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known term? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
