And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
