Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 like water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
