They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 and leave the earths level and bare, 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 On that day they follow the summoner who deceiveth not, and voices are hushed for the Beneficent, and thou hearest but a faint murmur. 108 On that day no one's intercession will be of any benefit unless he has received permission from the Beneficent God and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 He knoweth that which is before them and that which is behind them, and they encompass it not with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 Highly exalted be Allah, the true King! Do not hasten with the Koran before its revelation has been completed to you, but say: 'Lord, increase me in knowledge' 114 And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power. 115
