The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
