And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there. Using this feature in ColorfulQuran.com, you can easily read the Surahs according to the order of their revelation from The Embryo (Al-Alaq) to The Victory (An-Nasr), which is different from their positional order in the Holy Book from The Key (Al-Fatihah) to The People (An-Nas).
