The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
