3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
