And (make mention of) the day when the enemies of Allah are gathered unto the Fire, they are driven on 19 Till, when they reach it (Hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes, and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do. 20 And they say unto their skins: Why testify ye against us? They say: Allah hath given us speech Who giveth speech to all things, and Who created you at the first, and unto Whom ye are returned. 21 You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. In fact you thought that God did not know the things you used to do. 22 And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers." 23 Even if they are patient, their abode is Hell; and if they beg for favour, none will favour them. 24 ۞ And We have assigned unto them some companions who made fairseeming unto them that which was before them and that which was behind them, and justified upon them was the word pronounced on the communities of the jinn and mankind who passed away before them; verily they were the losers. 25
