Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur'an, 1 Guiding to the right way, so we believe in it, and we will not set up any one with our Lord: 2 ‘And that our Lord’s Majesty is Supreme – He has neither chosen a wife nor a child.’ 3 And the foolish among us were wont to forge lies against Allah exceedingly. 4 ‘Whereas we thought that men and jinns would never fabricate a lie against Allah!’ 5 Yet [it has always happened] that certain kinds of humans would seek refuge with certain kinds of [such] invisible forces: but these only increased their confusion 6 And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) - 7 "We went near the heavens but found it to be full of strong guards and shooting flames. 8 ‘And that we sometimes used to sit in some places in the sky, to listen; so whoever now listens finds a fiery comet waiting for him.’ 9 and that “we do not know whether evil is intended for those on the earth, or whether their Lord intends to direct them to the Right Way”; 10 And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways. 11 We knew that we could never challenge God whether we stayed on earth or fled elsewhere. 12 When we heard the guidance, we believed in it; and whosoever believes in his Lord, he shall fear neither paltriness nor vileness. 13 'And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allah, after listening to this Quran), and of us some are Al-Qasitun (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path)'. And whosoever has embraced Islam (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allah), then such have sought the Right Path." 14 And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell. 15 If they had followed the Path We would give to them abundant water to drink, 16 so as to test them by this means: for he who shall turn away from the remembrance of his Sustainer, him will He cause to undergo suffering most grievous. 17 and that “mosques belong to Allah, so do not invoke anyone with Him”; 18 And that when the Servant of Allah stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass." 19
