۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
