The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
