Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
