SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
