Allah it is Who made the night so that you may seek repose in it, and made the day radiant. Surely Allah is Most Bounteous to people; but most people do not give thanks. 61 Such is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things, There is no Allah save Him. How then are ye perverted? 62 In this wise have those strayed who the signs of Allah were away want to gainsay. 63 It is God who has given you the earth for a resting place and the heavens for a canopy. He shaped you, formed you well, and provided you with good things. Such is God, your Lord, so glory be to Him, the Lord of the Universe. 64 He is the Living: there is no god but He so call upon Him, making religion pure for Him. All praise unto Allah, the Lord of the worlds! 65 ۞ Say: 'I am forbidden to serve those you call on apart from God once the clear signs came to me from my Lord; and I am commanded to surrender to the Lord of All Being.' 66 It is He who created you from dust, then from a (sperm) drop, and then a (blood) clot. He then brings you forth as an infant, then you reach your strength, after which you come of age though some of you die before it and that you reach an appointed term, in order that you understand. 67 He it is Who causeth life and death. Then whensoever He decreeth an affair He only saith unto it: be, and it becometh. 68
