Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 The food of the sinner! 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 among gardens and springs, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
