Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 But how are you to know? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
