Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Was it not a sign for them, that it is known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 They will therefore say, "Will we get some respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Just think: If We let them enjoy the good things of life for a few years more, 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 To remind, and We are never unjust. 209 And this Qur'an was not brought down by the devils. 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 on those who whisper hearsay in the ears of people; and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God's promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take! 227
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
