3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be unto Noah among the peoples! 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 and he turned to their idols and asked them, "Do you eat? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo! thus do We reward the good. 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
