God wishes to make it clear to you and guide you through the example of earlier people, and to forgive you, for God is all-knowing and all-wise. 26 And Allah indeed wants to turn graciously towards you; but those who follow their lusts would want you to drift far away from the right way. 27 Allah wants to lighten your burdens, for man was created weak. 28 O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful! 29 If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah. 30 If ye shun the grievous sins from which ye are prohibited, We shall expiate from you your misdeeds, and make you enter a noble Entrance. 31 Do not covet what Allah has conferred more abundantly on some of you than others. Men shall have a share according to what they have earned, and women shall have a share according to what they have earned. Do ask of Allah His bounty. Allah has full knowledge of everything. 32 We have appointed heirs for everything that parents and close relatives leave behind. As for those with whom you have entered into agreements, let them, too, have their due. God is witness to all things. 33
