۞ Surely God bids to justice and good-doing and giving to kinsmen; and He forbids indecency, dishonour, and insolence, admonishing you, so that haply you will remember. 90 And fulfill the Covenant of Allah (Bai'a: pledge for Islam) when you have covenanted, and break not the oaths after you have confirmed them, and indeed you have appointed Allah your surety. Verily! Allah knows what you do. 91 Hence, be not like her who breaks and completely untwists the yarn which she [herself] has spun and made strong - [be not like this by] using your oaths as a means of deceiving one another, simply because some of you may be more powerful than others." By all this, God but puts you to a test - and [He does it] so that on Resurrection Day He might make clear unto you all that on which you were wont to differ. 92 For, had God so willed, He could surely have made you all one single community; however, He lets go astray him that wills [to go astray,] and guides aright him that wills [to be guided]; and you will surely be called to account for all that you ever did! 93 And do not make your oaths a means of deceit between you, lest a foot should slip after its stability and you should taste evil because you turned away from Allah's way and grievous punishment be your (lot). 94 And do not trade God's covenant for a paltry price. Remember, what is with God is better for you, if only you knew! 95 That which is with you is exhausted, and that which is with Allah is lasting. And We will surely recompense those who have been patient their hire for the best of that which they have been working 96 Whosoever worketh righteously, male or female, and is a believer, We will surely quicken him to a clean life, and will surely recompense them their hire for the best of that which they have been working. 97 (Muhammad), when you recite the Quran, seek refuge in God from the mischief of satan. 98 He does not have power over those who believe and place their trust in their Lord. 99 He has authority over those who are guided by him, and those who ascribe associates to Him (Allah). 100
