3/4 Hizb 41
< random >
۞ It is God who created you of weakness, then after weakness gave you strength, then after strength will give you weakness and grey hair. Surely He makes whatever He wills. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. 54 And on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, the culprits will swear that they tarried not but an hour; thus were they ever deluded. 55 Those who have received knowledge and have faith will say, "By the decree of God, you have remained for the exact period which was mentioned in the Book of God about the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know." 56 So that will be the Day when the excuses of the wrong-doers will not avail them, nor will they be asked to make amends. 57 verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities." 58 Thus does Allah set a seal on the hearts of those who do not know. 59 so have patience [O Muhammad]! God's promise is true; let not those who will not be convinced make you discouraged. 60
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Romans (Al-Room). Sent down in Mecca after The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq) before The Spider (Al-Ankaboot)
