۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
