In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till a limit known? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 For the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
