Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
Almighty Allah's Truth.
