Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
