▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
