The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
