And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said: build for him a building and cast him into the flaming fire. 97 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo! thus do We reward the good. 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
