Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
